62-year-old man faces fifth drunk driving offense
UPDATE: Tworek was charged with drunk driving (fifth offense) and having a prohibited blood-alcohol content. If convicted, he faces up to 13 years in prison and/or could pay fines up to $21,200. His blood-alcohol-content was .265, according to the criminal complaint.
Original story: A 62-year-old man was taken into custody for allegedly drunk driving and fleeing the scene of an accident near the corner of Douglas Avenue and 3 Mile Road at 2:45 a.m. July 23.
After driving his vehicle into a guard rail located on Douglas Avenue, about a fifth of a mile north of 3 Mile Road, Henry Tworek was found staggering northbound, according to the police report.

Police who apprehended Tworek noted he was “swaying severely back and forth to the point of almost falling over backwards while standing,” in the incident report.
It would be the Racine's man fifth drunk driving offense.
