Wanted And Sleepy, This Man Did Not Want The Police Involved

A Raymond man, who was wanted on a probation violation, found himself in jail after he fell asleep and crashed his car.

Vincent Albano, 19, of Raymond, was taken into custody on a probation and parole hold after he fell asleep and crashed his car in the 4500 block of Highway H at 5:14 a.m. on March 4, 2012.

According to a report by the , Albano was cited for hit and run property damage, inattentive driving, and driving too fast for conditions. He was also charged with disorderly conduct.

Albano walked into the and told an attendant that he had been in a car crash, but he didn’t want the police called. A Wisconsin State Patrol officer found Albano walking on Northwestern Ave. and the West Frontage Road. When a Caledonia Police officer talked to Albano, he said he didn’t call the police because he didn’t want to deal with them. 

When the officer drove to the area where Albano had crashed his car, he started smashing his head against the divider in the squad car and made derogatory comments to the police officer. He told the officer he was an alcoholic, that he needed to detox and made himself vomit.

Albano was also sentenced in court today on other charges after he fired a gun at a pickup truck that was being driven by some kids who smashed his mailbox.
