Wind Point Man Suspected of Killing His Neighbor

WIND POINT - A man suspected of killing a 21-year-old Wind Point man was arrested early this morning in the 5200 block of Valley Trail.

According to officials with the Racine County Sheriff’s Department, Sean L. Forester-Hoare, 29, of Wind Point, was taken into custody by the Caledonia Police at 2:11 a.m. He faces a felony charge of first-degree intentional homicide for allegedly killing Jonathan R. Kwiatkowski, 21, who lived at 5328 Valley Trail.

Wind Point Police were called for a report of a person was fighting with his family at 5328 Valley Trail. When police arrived they found Kwiatkowski, who had suffered life-threatening injuries. Rescue personnel from the Caledonia Fire Department transported him to Wheaton Franciscan Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Witnesses told police Forester-Hoare walked into his house a few houses away and they took him into custody, according to officials with the Racine County Sheriff’s Department.

"My heartfelt condolences go out to the Kwiatkowski family and friends for the victim," said Christopher Schmaling, of the Racine County Sheriff's Department.

The case remains under investigation.
