Woman Less Than Truthful About Her Identity, And Thefts From Cars

  • A stolen vehicle was pulled over at 4:52 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 22, 2012 in the 4300 block of Four Mile Road in Caledonia. Sara Parrish, 25, of Kenosha, was a passenger inside the stolen vehicle was arrested and taken into custody on a warrant for a probation violation. Parrish was arrested for obstruction and being a passenger inside a vehicle without an owner’s consent. According to a report by the Caledonia Police Department, Parrish originally gave officers a fake name. They learned her true identity after they found cards and a pill bottle with her name on it, which Parrish said belonged to a friend. She told police she knew she had a warrant from an unpaid traffic ticket, but court records showed she had a probation violation.
  • A fishing pole, socket set and a pair of Chanel sunglasses were taken from a garage sometime between 1 and 1:12 a.m. Jan. 17, 2012 in the 5100 block of Pine Tree Circle. According to a report by the Caledonia Police Department, the homeowners were woken up by a loud noise. They found the garage door up, the doors to their Mercedes and Dodge truck were open, and both had been gone through. Police believe the incident might be related to other theft from vehicles in the area.
  • A GPS unit was taken from a vehicle sometime between 5 and 9:30 p.m. Jan. 16, 2012 in the 5500 block of Acorn Trail. According to a report by the Caledonia Police Department, the 2007 Mercury had been unlocked and parked in the driveway.
  • A .22 semi automatic handgun was taken from a car sometime between 9 p.m. Jan. 16 and 7 a.m. Jan. 17 in the 3400 block of Killips Lane. According to a report by the Caledonia Police Department, the handgun, was taken from a locked vehicle, but there wasn’t any sign of forced entry.
