Update: Power Restored to 3,500 We Energies Customers

Caledonia Police Chief Toby Schey said some downed trees have caused a power outage and well over 3,500 customers were without for two hours.

5:30 p.m.: We Energies Spokesperson Barry McNulty confirmed that all 3,500 customers have their power restored. Fantasy Football fans are rejoicing throughout the village.

4:45 p.m.: McNulty, a spokesman for We Energies, said a tree has fallen on two circuits at the St. Rita substation near Four Mile and North Green Bay Road.

“We’re trying to bridge, or find different sources, for customers,” McNulty said.

At this time, there’s no estimated time for the restoration to be complete. However, at 4:40 p.m. power was restored for about 2,100 We Energies customers.

At about 3:30 p.m. over 3,500 customers near Four Mile Road west of Highway 31, and near Franksville had lost power.
