Do Democrats Have the Signatures to Recall Walker?

They're still not saying, but have planned to drop off a large number of boxes at the state's Government Accountability Board offices on Tuesday.

Wisconsin Democrats aren't even hinting to national media whether they have enough signatures to recall Gov. Scott Walker. But they are planning to bring a large number of boxes full of petitions - delivered on a truck dubbed the "Wisconsin Flyer" - to the Government Accountability Board's offices on Tuesday, according to Talking Points Memo

Wisconsin Dems Spokesman Graeme Zielinski maintained the party's stance that they're not going to talk about recall signature totals until Tuesday. They reportedly had 507,000 signatures in December, short of the 540,000 they need to force Walker into a recall election. The party's goal is 720,000 signatures to avoid any court challenges. 

Talking Point Memo asked if the announcement of the Tuesday dropoff was a suggestion they had reached the 540,000 threshhold. Zielinski's response:

“No, not at all. We believe that the whole process has been a victory for the people of Wisconsin because it’s focused in on what Scott Walker is doing. We’re not gonna comment on any number until the day-of."
