Donor Offers to Fix Franksville Hall Windows

And all the anonymous donor wants is a thank-you.

A poll worker wrote a letter to the editor saying the people running the polls in the February primary had to dress for the out-of-doors even though they were working inside due to broken windows at Franksville Hall in the Caledonia-Mount Pleasant Park.

And one Caledonia resident and Mount Pleasant businessman decided to do something about it, according to The Journal Times.

Park Direcotr Jim Svoboda announced last week that the anonymous donor has offered to pay for new windows and labor—about a $12,000 gift—in exchange for a thank you note.
