Early Voting Begins Today; Here's What You Need To Know

Not going to be around for the election on November 6, but want to make sure you perform your civic duty?

Election Info

• Sample Ballot: To see a sample ballot, go to the state's My Vote Wisconsin website and enter your address.
• Early Voting: You can cast an absentee ballot in person at Village Hall between Oct. 22 and 5 p.m. Friday, Nov. 2. You can also vote by mail, but your ballot must be postmarked no later than Election Day, Nov. 6. Visit the Village elections website or the state of Wisconsin's elections website for more information on early voting.
• Registering to vote: If you have not yet registered to vote, you have two options, now that it's after Oct. 17 (the deadline to mail in a registration form):
  2) Register in person at Village Hall by 5 p.m. Friday, Nov. 2
  3) Register at your polling place on Election Day
• Voter ID: Because of recent court rulings, Wisconsin's Voter ID law will not be enforced and you do not need an identification to vote. If you are registering to vote, you will need to bring a proof of residence. For more information on the Voter ID law, visit the state's election website.
