Root River Council Hosting Open House Featuring Redevelopment Project

The community is invited to review draft redevelopment maps of the Root River in downtown Racine from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Thursday Jan. 26 at the 21st Century Preparatory School, 1220 Mound Ave., #102, in the auditorium.

Input gathered during this meeting will help shape final redevelopment plans.

The meeting from  will focus on connection issues related to the Root River Pathway, and supports concepts outlined in the Back to the Root Plan.  Public input is vital to ensuring that redevelopment efforts reflect the character of the community and meet the needs of the region while revitalizing a valuable resource.
