Flooding, and a Rain/Snow Mix Likely... then More Snow

As those mountains of snow melt, flooding is likely over the next 48 hours, say officials with the National Weather Service.

The Root River Canal reached flood stage at 9 p.m. and minor flooding is occurring. A baseball field near Six Mile Road, and so has rural and agricultural land.

In a cruel twist, a winter storm watch has also been issued for Sunday and Sunday night as a rain and snow mixture will change over to snow. Some areas could get as much as eight to 12 inches of snow.
