After months of protests, the state budget was passed and will become law. What do you like about the budget? What don't you like about it? What questions do you have? And ultimately -- does the budget help or hurt you and your family?

hmmm...interesting that you give us the options of the intense form of "dislike" (hate) but not the intense form of "like" (love). Therefore, I LOVE the budget! Eliminates the $3+ billion deficit left by Doyle and the forecast is a possible $300 million surplus - what's not to LOVE? On Wisconsin!

definitely not done on purpose... :) I just had a really interesting discussion with Van Wanggaard about the budget. I'll get that up very soon.

This budget only benifits the KOCH brothers and the like. If this budget remains there will nothing left of Wisconsin in a few short years. You can only give out so many tax breaks to big business, with no guarantees that they even come here, before your infrastructure crumbles (schools, power grids, libraies, bridges, roads).

I'm really proud of what Gov. Walker has done and is doing. Since you mention the “months of protests”, I'd have to say that I like the side benefit this has had, of exposing just how bad the liberal drones are in Wisconsin and especially in Madison. Don't misunderstand; the clown show was certainly an embarrassment for Wisconsin to the rest of the nation. However, I think this was positive in the sense that it served as a wake-up call to the more politically complacent, working class voters.

It's about time. The democrats are all shouting that this is going to hurt the middle class working family. My Wife & I are one of those middle class working families and we need fiscal reform before all the taxes ruin the middle class. It's so obvious that the only people who don't like the budget are the one's that are going to have to start paying a portion of thier own way. When our school boards and local governments realize this they will have plenty of money. The teachers always cry that it's for the kids. If you care about those kids so much, put your money where your mouth is. Keep up the Great Work Governor Walker, Senator Wannaagard & Representative Vos.
