The Racine Branch of the American Association of University Women (AAUW) has scheduled several from 10 a.m. to noon, Saturday, January 14, 2012 and 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., Tuesday, January 24, 2012 at CVS Pharmacy, 1122 West Blvd. The lower level can be accessed by using the elevator or stairs in the CVS lobby or by using the stairs along the east side of the outside of the building.

Village Board Meetings

A Special Village Board meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2012 at the East Side Community Center, 6156 Douglas Ave., will be held to discuss how the Village will proceed with replacing the Village Administrator. Tom Lebak currently has the position, but he has resigned and told the Board he plans to retire in May.

The Plan Commission will meet at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 25 at the East Side Community Center, 6156 Douglas Ave. to discuss giving a conditional use permit to , consider extending several preliminary plats and decide on giving a man permission to split his land.
