Need A Job?

The Racine County Workforce Development Center is rounding up employers who are looking to hire people for entry level to positions requiring advanced degrees.

A job fair, sponsored by the Racine County Workforce Development Center, will be held from 1 to 5 p.m. Oct. 2 at the Racine Marriott, 7111 Washington Ave., in Mount Pleasant.

Employers will recruit for current job openings ranging from entry level to those requiring advanced degrees.  The registration fee for exhibitors is $100.  Employers may register by visiting www.wdc.racineco.com or by contacting Valerie Hanson of the Racine County Workforce Development Center at (262) 638-6603 or Valerie.Hanson@Goracine.org.

For individuals seeking employment, there is no cost to attend the job fair.  Job seekers should come prepared to spend face-to-face time with employers.  They should bring multiple copies of their resumes and be prepared to talk about their skills with the employers.  Individuals may prepare resumes in advance of the event by visiting the Racine County Workforce Development Center at 1717 Taylor Avenue in Racine, or the Burlington office at 496 McCanna Parkway.
