New Church Seeks Approval for New Building

Issue to be taken up by the Village Board Monday.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is seeking approval from the Village Board for a new building at 7227 Northwestern Ave.

The matter will be considerd by the Village Board at a meeting Monday.

The building proposal includes a chapel for 280 people, an office and cultural center.

Church officials told the Plan Commission they planned to address their neighbors’ drainage concerns.
