Ticket Information: VP Candidate Paul Ryan to Visit Waukesha Monday

There's still time to get tickets online or in person for Wisconsin congressman's early morning stop in Waukesha.

Tickets are available throughout the weekend for Republican vice presidential candidate Paul Ryan's visit to Waukesha on Monday morning.

Ryan and other key Republicans will be at Carroll College for a town hall meeting at the Van Male Field House, 227 N. Barstow St. Doors open at 7 a.m., and the event is expected to begin around 8 a.m.

It's the Wisconsin congressman's second visit to Waukesha since Mitt Romney selected him as running mate in August. Thousands of people showed up at a rally at the Waukesha Expo Center the day after Ryan was picked for the second spot.

Tickets are available at the GOP campaign office at 1701 Pearl St. in Waukesha until 9 p.m. on Saturday, and from noon to 9 p.m. on Sunday. Tickets are also available on Romney's campaign website.

Ryan's visit comes just days after his debate against Vice President Joe Biden and at a time when the polls show the race tightening in Wisconsin. The Huffington Post's Pollster feature, which averages the results of recent polls, shows President Barack Obama with a 3 percentage point lead over Romney in Wisconsin. Three weeks ago, Obama's lead was 7 percentage points.

Compare to how the Obama/Biden plan will effect 80% of us? Higher taxes on individuals = less money in our pockets to spend. Higher taxes on businesses = higher consumable goods/services costs. Less spending and higher costs = less demand for goods and services. Less demand = less jobs and lower pay. Everyone except for government loses. This is a no-brainer for anyone with a brain, unlike Bernie. ROMNEY/RYAN/THOMPSON 2012!!!

@Bernie - Again, you're LYING!!! 1) Both the Medicare and SS Trust Fund trustees have stated time and again that the programs, under their current funding and benefit payout schedules, will go bankrupt in the near future unless there is a population and jobs boom in this country in the next five years, and that doesn't appear very likely to happen, especially under a continued Obama administration, or the programs are significantly changed/reformed! And the only way to shore up the programs long term solvency without large changes or cuts to benefits is to significantly increase payroll (FICA and FUTA) taxes on people. More studies have indicated that to fully fund the program, the payroll taxes would need to be increased to nearly 20% of a person's gross pay. Eliminating the SS cap on high income earners would basically equate to wealth redistribution (socialism). Americans should be treated like adults - the programs should be reformed. 2) Solyndra doesn't ring any bells? And it is a FACT that one of the owners of Solyndra was a large Obama 2008 campaign donor/bundler that had personally visited Obama in the WH shortly before the loans were miraculously approved, despite Obama's own DOE stating in communications that it "wasn't ready for prime time." Just because a so-called 'independent review' cleared the administration of any wrongdoing doesn't mean it's true. Only a kool-aide drinker, such as yourself, would believe such nonsense! ROMNEY/RYAN 2012!!!

Hoffa should also add that the Romney/Ryan tax cut is NOT a $5T tax cut - that is yet another LIE!

Mr. Forand, I am certain that you, as a liberal/progressive, have a much greater intellect than a mere conservative like myself. Could you please explain how a company that is only abel to meet 88% and 75% of their obligations, isn't in bankrupt or at least in need of a major restructuring.

Bernie, Keif, Lyle, Bren, Randall, etc etc etc have never run a lemonade stand, they are liberals who have not amounted to a hill of beans in the big scheme of things.
