Wondering How To Get Around Douglas Ave South Of 3 Mile Road?

Traveling down Douglas Avenue south of 3 Mile Road got a bit more confusing this week, but here's how to alleviate that problem.

The construction of Highway 32 (Douglas Ave.) between Goold and South street began this week.

The $4 million project will reconstruct the 1.5-mile section. People will still be able to use the northbound lane, but the southbound lane will be closed. Drivers will be detoured from the north at WI 32 to Wis 38 to Yout Street and back to Douglas Avenue.

The company working on the project, Stark Asphalt, has set a completion date by late October, but that of course is dependent on the weather.
