Love that band!  All good things must come to an end, including the Racine Concert Band's 90th season. The final concert of the season is 7 p.m. Sunday at the Racine Zoo Kiwanis Amphitheatre, 2131 N. Main St. Scheduled soloists are vocalist Ami Bouterse and trumpet player Russ Johnson. The zoo gates open for free admission at 6:30 p.m. Bring your lawn chair or blanket and enjoy this Racine tradition one more time this year!

See some gems.  Interested in rocks, gems and minerals? You won't want to miss the Racine Geological Society's annual Sale and Swap, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday at the Bartlett Youth Foundation, 1120 N. Stuart Rd., Mount Pleasant. There will also be a silent auction and raffle. It's free!

A different kind of fly-in.  Planes in the air - small ones, that is!  The annual Racine Radio Control Club Fun Fly is 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday along West Road, just off Washington Avenue (Highway 20) in Mount Pleasant. Members will be demonstrating their aircraft for visitors. Free admission.

Motorcycles on the way!  Get ready for chrome, leather and pipes!  The Hot Bike magazine Power Tour arrives in Racine next Wednesday, Aug. 28. This five-day motorcycle ride starts in Little Rock, Ark. and works its way through five states before arriving at Racine's Pershing Park. You're invited to stop by from 1-8 p.m. for motorcycle displays, bike-related products, food, giveaways and GR's Finest Street Bike Stunt Show. The band "Burn" performs 2-4 p.m. and "Georgia Overdrive" is on stage 6-8 p.m. It's a great, free preview for the Harley-Davidson 110th Anniversary celebration.
