Seeing it Like it Was in Racine County

Are your kids or grandkids getting tired of hearing you talk about the old days? This weekend, you can show them what it was like! Come along with Real Racine for these experiences.

Harvesting the past. Start with the 22nd Annual Fall Harvest Days, Friday through Sunday at the Racine County Fairgrounds in Union Grove. The SE Wisconsin Antique Power & Collectibles Society brings a large display of antique tractors and equipment. Your kids and grandkids will want to see the daily tractor parade and the old-time threshing, baling, sawmill, shingle mill and homemaking demonstrations. If you’re feeling lucky, you can enter raffles to win a restored 1947 Massey-Harris tractor or a hand-made Amish quilt. The show is open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. Admission is $5 for adults; kids under 12 get in free. Visit www.fallharvestdays.com
