According to a criminal complaint, police were called for a report of a man with a gun at a residence in the 7500 block of Pheasant Trail at 4:44 p.m. Tuesday. Police found Gallimore, a 34-year-old man, three children under the age of 11, Gallimore’s wife and a woman in the home. The woman, Gallimore’s sister-in-law, yelled to police that Gallimore had a gun.

Gallimore was located inside the house, but claimed not to have a gun. However, an unloaded .25 caliber handgun was found on top of a television. A second handgun was found in a safe. A magazine with rounds and one bullet were found under a mattress in the home.

Police learned Gallimore’s wife was moving out of the house because the couple is separating. When Gallimore’s wife went to take apart the children’s bunk bed, Gallimore allegedly put a gun to her head. Gallimore’s wife told police her husband “had his arm around her neck and pressed the gun to her temple, leaving a mark.” She pushed Gallimore off of her and attempted to calm her husband down, but then he pointed the gun at the children and he told her “he was defending his property.”

One of the children called police.

While pointing the gun at his wife, Gallimore told his sister-in-law to leave. She told Gallimore she wasn’t leaving while he had a gun pointed at her sister and Gallimore pointed the gun at her. Gallimore pretended to call the police and said he was being attacked. He then had his wife walk in front of him while he had the gun in his pocket. Officers then arrived and took Gallimore into custody.

Gallimore told police he just wanted people to leave the house, that the gun was loaded when he put the gun to his wife’s head and when he pointed the gun at his sister-in-law, his son and their friend.

Police arrested Gallimore and took him to the Racine County Jail. He is being held on a $10,000 bond. A preliminary hearing has been set for Feb. 23.
