Educators Credit Union To Hold Free Financial Literacy Workshop

For many people, pursuing financial literacy is a long-term goal. But where to begin?  Free to the public and open to everyone, Educators Credit Union hopes to inform interested consumers how to best manage their assets.  Everything from growing a nest egg to understanding your credit report is covered will be these monthly workshops.

Educators newest offering is called, “Protecting Your Identity and Protecting Your Children.” It will focus on this growing crime trend and how to take the proper measures to reduce your risk. Protecting your personal information is key, along with recognizing the early signs of identity theft.  ID kits and workbooks will also be available to take home to speak with your children about this important issue.

The Protecting Your Identity workshop will be held at 1400 N. Newman Rd. Each class runs from 6:30-8pm.  Registration is required. Please visit: https://www.ecu.com/educational/consumer/workshops/currentWorkshops for more detailed information.
