Racine County Executive, James A. Ladwig and the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA) have designated May as National Elder Law Month. Attorney Timothy P. Crawford’s staff will honor this designation by handing out FREE Health Care Powers of Attorney kits in Racine on certain Saturdays in May from 9 a.m. - noon. Everyone who is over 17 years of age is encouraged to come by for a FREE Health Care Power of Attorney. Once a person becomes 18 years old, they are considered an adult and the parents lose their right to make a decision for their child unless the child has a Health Care Power of Attorney.
