New SuperIntendent Salary Expected To Be Approved Monday

Lolli Haws accepted the contract terms the Racine Unified School District and the school board is expected to approve the $200,000 salary on Monday.

Lolli Haws, who will serve as Racine Unified's new superintendent starting July 1, will earn $200,000 a year, according to a story in the Journal Times.

The Racine Unified School District Board of Education is expected to approve the contract on Monday at their board meeting. The two-year contract also includes $10,000 for each year to be put into a tax-sheltered annuity for expenses, including moving costs, technology and periodicals.

Haws was the sole candidate for the superintendent's position to participate in a public question-and-answer session with the Unified community in February. After that evening, RUSD School Board President Dennis Wiser confirmed the district was on contract negotiations with Haws.
