Wrenching Their Way To The Top, Students Win National Competition

Jake Edgerly, a senior at Case, and Ryan Herman, a senior at Horlick, competed and won the National Automotive Technology Competition by correcting 17 bugs on a Lexus.

Three hours, two students and one Lexus RX350 that had 17 glorius problems to fix at the National Automotive Technology Competition held last week in New York, according to a story in the Journal Times.

And yes, the problems were gloriously fix by Seniors Jake Edgerly, who attends Case High School, and Ryan Herman, who attends Horlick High School, wrenched their way to first place at the New York International Auto Show.

The win not only meant a lot to Edgerly and Herman, but to their automotive teacher, Dave Dixon, who will be retiring at the end of the year.
