§                  Learn how to sew seeds directly into the garden or start indoors and transplant to the garden.  Growing your garden from seed is economical.  Many plants are only available in seed.    Also there is the satisfaction to look at a thriving garden in July and know you were responsible for these plants from the very beginning.

§                  Learn how to read the package -- whether seed package or label on the potting soil bag.  About 80 percent of your garden is to start off right. Potting soil is not all the same and will contribute greatly to the health of your plants.

§                  Buying plants at a nursery is the quickest, easiest way to get your garden growing.   But have you ever killed a plant in two days?  Learn how to transplant them to your garden and care for them so they stay vigorous.

§                  If you don’t have a yard but want to grow plants for beauty and culinary uses?  Learn how to start window boxes, decorative pots and kitchen gardens and keep them thriving through the fall months.

Cost is $10 which includes materials. Your registration must be received by Saturday, April 25. Specify morning class or afternoon class and include your phone number.
