Conservancy Founder Earns Agricultural Award

Eric Schumann is passionate about being a a good steward of the land.

Eric Schumann is among 12 individuals who will be honored for their volunteerism at a ceremony and luncheon.

As a founding member of the Caledonia Conservancy Land Trust, Schumann volunteers countless hours.  His commitment of time, energy, leadership, and financial donations is a tremendous boost to the organization.  When he believes in the cause, he makes the world a better place because of his volunteerism.

The 12 were chosen based on volunteer accomplishments, impact on an individual group or community, and leadership from nominations submitted by area individuals and nonprofit organizations.

A reception and silent auction will be held from 11:30 a.m. to noon on Friday, April 15 at the Racine Marriott.  The welcome luncheon is from noon to 12:45 p.m. and concludes with awards program by 1:30 p.m.  Tickets are available at the Volunteer Center of Racine County, 886-9612.
