Last time I checked, the poor victim survived, so how is this a fatal stabbing?
Tj July 10, 2014 at 09:13 pm
Nobody ever said it was fatal-- it was little more than a pin prick. I bet it didn't even hurt. TheRead More poor "victim" was faking it so everyone feels sorry for her. Now she's got the world on a string and two poor, innocent slenderman fans are behind bars for life!
Mr Lundt June 7, 2014 at 05:22 pm
It is great to see the community rally. There will be plenty of time to exact justice---we shouldRead More now focus good thoughts on the victim.
Tass Kandle June 8, 2014 at 10:35 am
How do you even punish a 12 year old girl that stabbed one of her own best friends within an inch ofRead More her life? Unfortunately they will probably go to some institutions for a couple years then be let out. Not sure if you can fix the kind of broken those two stabbing girls are.

Legal firearms owners are not the problem. Making more restrictive laws only contribute to puttingRead More more good people at risk because the more restrictive laws make it harder for good people to defend themselves. The bad guys do not obey laws now. What makes law makers think that that the bad guys will obey even more stricter laws? The only way to stop a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun. We need more good citizens that are armed and trained with the use of a firearm for defensive purposes. It is your duty as an American to defend against all imminent threats. Study the Swiss position on a country of armed citizens. It works very well.

I think the Sandy Hook tragedy is one of the worst events that ever happened to our country, as badRead More or worse than 9/11. Terrible. BUT... I do not think what bad people do (with guns or bombs) can be framed by the materials used... it is the people doing the harm that matter, not the instruments they choose to do their damage with. This article is incredibly one-sided and biased by talking about just the stories where guns are used by bad people. It is being presented as news when it is really just gun control propaganda. If you want to be fair, this should include an equal amount of stories related to a good person limiting or stopping a bad person via using a gun. There have been many stories like that in the past year as well. I agree with Mitchell, the more good people that are gun educated and armed the more those people can stop a terrible situation initiated by a bad person. AND... better education also addresses the accidents and poor judgment situations. Only a child or a grown idiot assumes a gun is not loaded or assumes a gun is a bb gun when it isn't. Adults with guns have to keep guns away from kids and be educated to respect them properly.
Avenging Angel December 16, 2013 at 08:30 pm
The media loves to report on these incidents, but they rarely report on gun defenses. There areRead More thousands of incidents across this country every year where someone "would have" or "probably would have" been killed.

More liberal excuse making and downplaying of thug behavior. If this were a pack of whitesRead More assaulting a black 80 yr old woman, etc, every limp dick liberal and black race baiter would have their pink panties in a bunch. F*ck patch.

I had two Hispanic males stop at my house a few months ago. Luckily my brother happened to beRead More leaving and was still in my drive way and stayed until they had left. Last year my parents had two Hispanic Males also stop by their house and one kept talking to my Dad and the other one came around the side of the house trying to tell my Mom the information the other was giving to my Dad was a really good deal, but they knew enough to tell them to go on their way!

Heather - do you have any more info? The man in the grey shirt in your photos is wearing the sameRead More type of clothing my daughter reported when she was the victim of a purse snatching just last Tuesday in the early morning. Two males came up from behind and grabbed her purse and threatened to shoot her. The police report was handled by Milwaukee police and will be treated as a felony, if they catch them. They did attempt to use her credit card ate a gas station on Capitol Dr but thankfully we had closed all of her accounts within a half hour of being robbed.

Really, no update after a whole day? I'm guessing this might be because people were so used to 4Read More mile being closed that someone pulled out in front of someone... I've seen several times now where people are forgetting that traffic is coming from and headed EAST now at that intersection.
me September 26, 2013 at 06:43 am

Update: Never caught the low lives. The police said this is a gang that goes around the country andRead More does this crap. They call themselves the "End Lane Gang" Credit card companies are useless at helping apprehend these thieves as they leave it all up to local authorities and spend nothing to help stop this ongoing growing career opportunity for the scum bags of the world. They don't require merchants to ask for ID or check signatures nor hold them accountable for not doing so. My advise is to stop supporting the wealthy credit and debit card companies and banks all together and eliminate the opportunity by using cash only. Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover are all raping the small businesses every month with their fees yet contribute nothing to end this ongoing saga.
JW April 24, 2014 at 02:41 pm
I do not deal with cash... way too much of a hassle to get it and have it on hand. And if you getRead More robbed of cash, there is no protection at all. Credit cards offer rewards for usage as well as protections against fraud. My concern is merely that fraudulent usage ends up the problem of the credit card companies rather than me directly. They should handle the risks of stolen cards or numbers, and they generally do. Credit cards will not be going away... small businesses HAVE to deal with them... if they want to deal with them less they really have to make it known that they are willing to provide products or services at a reduced price for cash. The Exclusive Company does it, though I know the cc companies frown upon that practice... but something like that might get me to use cash more, at least in some cases. But in general, it has long been past the time frame that a small business could afford to not take credit cards and they have to factor those fees into their prices.
Eve Thielen May 1, 2014 at 11:50 am
I disagree JW. No one carries $13,000 CASH in their purse. I would rather these idiots riskRead More getting caught for a lousy $100 in cash then them getting away with $13,000 in credit card charged merchandise all within (3) hours. You missed my point. Low life scums are making careers out of ripping off people of not only their credit but their identity! You obviously have not dealt with this type of theft or you may see my point. I'm still cleaning up this mess from August and the Credit/Debit Card Companies and Banks are doing nothing to halt this new career opportunity for these thieves. They have a much bigger opportunity when dealing with the credit cards than if everyone carried a measly $100. It might deter them since it would be TOO MUCH WORK for the lazy asses to break a car window and risk jail time for a lousy $20-$100 in cash. If the credit card companies would subsidize the local authorities investigations in these crimes I might feel differently but instead they sit back counting their profits each day. If and when you experience what I experienced you may see it my way.

OWI's are a huge money maker for all police agencies. The funny thing is that cops are usually theRead More biggest drunks around.

The man should not be driving while on drugs and/or alcohol. When he kills someone it will be aRead More different story. He needs help and hopefully this arrest will help him to see that.
Avenging Angel September 18, 2013 at 02:53 pm
After four, do you really think he will change? People like this have no concern about themselves orRead More others. It's called anti-social behavior. What our society needs is him off the streets for many years.
