Police say the suspect, 19, got into a fight with another man after an earlier incident at a nearby apartment.
A 19-year-old Caledonia man is accused of beating another man along highway 31 after an altercation took place earlier in a nearby apartment. Michael Lee Mehevic Jr. was charged in Racine County Circuit Court Monday with one count of disorderly conduct and one count of battery. If convicted, he faces up to one year in prison and $11,000 in fines. According to the criminal complaint: At 7:19 a.m. Sunday, Mehevic was inside his apartment with his girlfriend and several other people in the 6600 block of Highway 31, when he got into an argument with his girlfriend. Suspect hits woman in the face after they get into an argument about how many tarps to use.
A 54-year-old South Milwaukee man is facing charges after he allegedly punched a woman in the face while arguing about tarps at a Caledonia campground. Steven W. Budziszewski was charged in Racine County Circuit Court Monday with one count of battery and one count of disorderly conduct. 30-year-old man faces battery charges.
A 30-year-old man was arrested for battery and disorderly conduct after he threatened a 23-year-old man with a sword in the 9800 block of Six Mile Road at 9:08 a.m. Friday, July 15. According to a report by the Caledonia Police Department, both men appeared hung over. The 23-year-old man had scrapes on his wrists, and bruises and scrapes to his back and knees. The two had been out drinking at a bar, and started arguing. One of the men was frustrated with their relationship and the two started fighting. The 30-year-old man struck the other man with a wooden crate, but the 30-year-old man said the other man threatened him with a sword. A 14-year-old girl and a 17-year-old girl were arrested today for battery and disorderly conduct for fighting in a park. And they would have gotten away with it if someone wouldn't have posted a recording of the fight on YouTube. The two girls have not been officially been charged, but David Malison, an investigator with the Caledonia Police Department, said the case has been referred to the Racine County District Attorney’s Office for charges.
