Woman tells police a teenager ran off with her jewelry and electronic equipment on Wednesday.

A burglar allegedly took electronic equipment and jewelry while the homeowner was at home at 10:08 a.m. Wednesday in the 5500 block of Willowview Road. The homeowner told police that her son was home sick from school and was sleeping on the second floor when she was at home doing laundry in the basement. A watch, gold ring with emeralds, Ipod, cell phone, video game player and several cases of DVDs were taken from the home. Caledonia Police are searching for leads after at least two suspected entered a home while an elderly couple slept. They allegedly took items just inches away from them.

An elderly couple woke up Tuesday morning to find that their home was burglarized while they were sleeping. Police believe at least two suspects committed the burglary sometime between 11 p.m. Monday and 7:30 a.m. Tuesday. Their home is located in the 6000 block of County Trunk Highway H in Franksville. The homeowner found a broken window on the second floor, which was odd because the window led to a closet, and he found two screwdrivers on the roof. The couple’s dog was outside during the time of the burglary, but they found her inside the garage in the morning. “The dog was outside at first and she must have barked or something because they locked her in the garage. But we didn’t even hear the dog barking,” the homeowner said. Walking …
