UPDATE: The Village Board talked about dissolving the TIF district at a Village Board Meeting Dec. 6, 2011, but the decided against it for now. Barbara Sorenson, the real estate agent who has the property listed, told the board that one of the owners of the building went bankrupt and they are currently in court proceedings. Daniel Hintz, Dr. Thomas Wood, and Joseph Borzynski own the property. According to court records, the matter is set to go to trial on June 29 2012. Sorenson told the Village Board she gets at least two to three phone calls a week about the property and knows she won't be able to sell the property unless the TIF allows to stay with the property.
