Brookfield Police released details on the Azana Spa Shooting today, which describes a horrific scene of how Cary Robuck, a Caledonia resident, and three others died on Oct. 21.
Caledonia resident Cary Robuck was among those killed in the Azana Spa shooting on Oct. 21. The mass shooting that day in Brookfield has been widely reported, with a handful of witness accounts painting a jagged, partial picture of the chaos and terror inflicted that day by killer Radcliffe Haughton, who took four lives, including his own. But a more complete view of what Brookfield police officers found when they arrived was released today.

A Caledonia woman killed during the Oct. 21 shooting in Brookfield was buried Friday, and friends held a fundraiser Friday for her family.
Laurin Radke, a hairdresser at Individuals Hair Salon, pulled the purple strands of a hair extension through Lindsay Hoover's hair in the Horlick High School fieldhouse Friday. Hoover came to the field house to show her support for Cary Robuck's family. Robuck, 35, of Caledonia, was killed when Radcliffe Haughton, 45, opened fire Sunday morning at the Azana Salon in Brookfield. Robuck was the mother of Horlick High School cheerleader Mariah Sturm, and she was very close with her boyfriend’s daughter Kira Scheffler, who is also a cheerleader. Thomas Stark, a senior at Horlick High School, Mariah Sturm, and Kira are also friends. Stark started planning the fundraiser shortly after the news of Robuck’s death. Friends of Cary Robuck's daughter are putting together a fundraiser, which is now being supported by the Racine County Sheriff's Department and they are hoping the community will show its support.
A number of friends are rallying around Cary Robuck’s family as they cope with the gruesome reality of her death by holding a fundraiser in her honor. Robuck was the 35-year-old mother of Horlick High School cheerleader Mariah Sturm, and she was very close with her boyfriend’s daughter Kira Scheffler, who is also a cheerleader.
