UPDATE: Man Cited for Poisoning Cat
Man inadvertently poisoned his ex-girlfriend's cat during a domestic dispute, now he's been cited for animal cruelty.
A 39-year-old Caledonia man was arrested for domestic criminal damage to property at 10:30 p.m. Jan. 2, in the 6400 block of State Highway 38 in Franksville. The man was also cited for animal cruelty. According to a report by the Caledonia Police Department, the man's ex-girlfriend found her television, computer, phone set and label maker covered in what appeared to be brake fluid. One of the woman's cats died from ingesting the fluid. She told police she was trying to break up and move out of the house. The man denied doing the damage, but he was taken to the Racine County Jail.
