48-year-old man cited for drunk driving, open intoxicants A 48-year-old man was taken into custody for alleged drunk driving at the corner of Douglas Avenue and Carlton Drive at 2:15 a.m. July 24. Christopher Haas of Racine was also cited for open intoxicants in a motor vehicle after an open bottle of rum was found in the back seat of the vehicle he was driving. Haas told police he was angry at them for not out catching the real criminals, according to the police report. Haas also told police that he “was going to get us police back,” “we got ours coming” and “to watch our backs,” according to the report.
