Woman Has Box Cutter While Stealing, Police Say

A Racine woman is accused of stealing baby formula from Pick 'n Save.

A 17-year-old Racine woman is accused of carrying a box cutter while stealing baby formula from Pick ‘n Save. Brittany J. Johnson was charged in Racine County Circuit Court Wednesday with one count of retail theft, one count of disorderly conduct and one count of carrying a concealed weapon. If convicted, she faces up to 21 months in prison and $21,000 in fines. According to the criminal complaint: On Dec. 28, Caledonia police officers were called to Pick ‘n Save after Johnson was confronted about stealing baby formula, then became combative with store staff after they asked her to go to the store security office. A Racine woman, 29, is accused of stabbing her brother in the knee after they get into a fight, but she claims to have had a seizure just before the fight.

A 29-year-old Racine woman is accused of stabbing her brother in the knee while having an argument inside their apartment. Shamekka C. Harris was charged in Racine County Circuit Court Friday with one count of aggravated battery with use of a dangerous weapon, one count of disorderly conduct with use of a dangerous weapon and one count of bail jumping. A New Berlin woman is accused of throwing a hammer through a West Allis man's window then trying to run over a police officer before driving to Caledonia and getting into a car accident. Dawn M. Geske, 37, was charged in Waukesha County Circuit Court Wednesday with one count of disorderly conduct. If convicted, she faces up to 90 days in jail and $1,000 in fines. No charges have formally been filed, but police are recommending that the man be charged with disorderly conduct-disturbing the peace. According to a report by the Caledonia Police Department, after a night of drinking at a tavern, a 51-year-old man was angry with his 49-year-old wife for not having sex with him. Harris was charged in Racine County Circuit Court Monday with one count of disorderly conduct and one count of criminal damage to property. William Lawrence, 54, of Caledonia, and Latonya Brown, 38, of Caledonia, were both verbally arguing using profanity in the middle of the street, according to a report by the Caledonia Police Department.
