Man Charged in Friday Drunk Driving Crash
Suspect tells police he drank five beers and two shots before driving, but claims he was doing the speed limit when an SUV turned left in front of him.
A 22-year-old Pleasant Prairie man is accused of crashing into an SUV while driving drunk and speeding through Caledonia Friday. Kevin T. Rasch was charged in Racine County Circuit Court Monday with one count of causing injury while intoxicated and six counts of second-degree reckless endangerment. If convicted, he faces up to 31 years in prison and $152,000 in fines. According to the criminal complaint: On Friday, Caledonia police officers were called to a car crash at the intersection of Highway 32 and 5 Mile Road, involving three cars, one of which was missing.
