EKG Concepts signed a contract that will allow its products to get into major hospitals in the United States and around the world.
A 3-year-old Caledonia company has finalized a contract that will allow its products to be distributed around the world. EKG Concepts announced that WorldPoint is now the national and international distributor of its R-CAT (Rapid Cardiac Analysis Tool) products. The tools are designed to help medical personnel accurately and rapidly identify EKG changes associated with heart attacks. This saves valuable time, reduces critical errors and helps initiate treatment, EKG Concepts Chief Executive Gary Krause said. EKG, or electrocardiogram, is a test that checks for problems with the electrical activity of the heart.
