Caledonia Fire Department Assists In Putting Out South Milwaukee Blaze
No one was hurt during the blaze. However, Caledonia, Franklin, Greenfield, West Allis, Oak Creek, Hales Corners, Raymond and the Racine Fire Bells responded to assist the South Milwaukee Fire Department through mutual aid.
Firefighters from the Caledonia Fire Department were among several departments that responded to a multi-family house fire in South Milwaukee Saturday, Oct. 8. No one was hurt during the blaze. However, Caledonia, Franklin, Greenfield, West Allis, Oak Creek, Hales Corners, Raymond and the Racine Fire Bells responded to assist the South Milwaukee Fire Department through mutual aid. Tony Aiello, a firefighter for Caledonia, said the department got the call at 9:15 a.m. and 20 minutes later they were on scene at 901 Monroe Street in South Milwaukee. “Smoke pushed out of the eves of the home and shortly after flames shot out of the roof,” Aiello said.
