The tour seeks “to educate Americans on the most harmful aspects of President Obama’s big-government agenda, and help put grassroots pressure on politicians to turn away from these destructive policies,” according to a press release.

Obama’s Failing Agenda Bus Tour, organized by Americans For Prosperity, will make a stop in Caledonia on Saturday for its only stop in Southeast Wisconsin. The tour kicks off today and will be a multi-state tour that includes 250 stops. Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI), Fox News Contributor and Editor-in-Chief of the Daily Caller Tucker Carlson, and radio host Tony Katz will be the featured speakers in Wisconsin. Wisconsin Republicans say that 5-4 ruling to upheld the federal Affordable Care Act will strengthen their resolve for to push for repeal, while Democrats praise the ruling.

In a highly anticipated ruling, the U.S. Supreme Court today upheld the Affordable Care Act, the health care reform law that President Barack Obama signed into law in 2010 and his top priority in the first two years of his administration. The high court, by a 5-4 vote, upheld the entire law. The controversial law — known as "Obamacare" to critics — expands health care coverage to millions of uninsured Americans. Last night I wanted to hear our President deliver the State of the Union Address; but also to hear “our” representative, seven-term Congressman Paul Ryan deliver his Republican response.  And what a performance it was. Ryan’s response could have been called the opening salvo of “Sell the Fear 2011” as it was a masterful use of prose. I expected policy differences and there were, but what I hoped for was that they be stated in complete fact, even with the ideological slant. Sadly, we never get the complete picture from him. Instead we got the spin, a far-right whitewash painting for Caledonia residents and the nation. I never knew I needed to fear so much.
