The non-reportable crash ended violently after a woman lost her cool in Caledonia.

A fender bender turned into a physical confrontation after a Mount Plesant woman twice punched a woman in the face at 7:20 a.m. Jan. 9 at the intersection of Highway K and Airline Road. Ashly Wickey, 31, of Mount Pleasant, was cited for failing to yield the right of way, making an improper-overtaking, disorderly conduct and battery. Sturtevant Fist Fight Leads to Caledonia Road Rage Incident

Police expect to charge those involved.

A man suffered non-life threatening injuries after he was the victim of a road rage incident at 1:55 a.m. Sunday on Northwestern Avenue at County Trunk Highway H. But the rage might have been mutual and really a continuation from a fight that had happened prior to the incident. According to a report by the Caledonia Police Department, a 21-year-old Racine man told police he went to a dance with his girlfriend and he saw his old girlfriend with his cousin, so he left the dance because he knew there would be trouble if he stayed.  While driving home an orange Chevrolet Tahoe came up behind the car the 21-year-old man was driving and pushed him north on Highway H all the way to Highway K.  While going through the intersection, the man’s car …
