Today I ventured out to Target to check out some deals and most importantly, document them to share with you guys. I found AWESOME prices...great pairings with coupons...filled my basket...didn't have any problem at the register...saved $25...then realized my debit card was.....at home. D'oh!! Luckily my bank was around the corner so I put my tail between my legs and schlepped it over to take out some moola to pay for my finds. How embarrassing! However, I did still come away with some amazing savings and you can too! Remember at Target you're allowed to "stack" coupons which means you can use one manufacturer coupon and one Target coupon per item. When you can match both types of coupons to an item on sale, you're guaranteed some crazy …

I finally succumbed to the flu bug that's bit my whole family. I knew this day was coming, but stayed in a vitamin C overdose haze of denial. Until now. Although flu bug bites are kind of the right of passage into the Autumnal season. So I'll take it in stride and ride out the sick storm. Helping me take my mind off of this flu bug is a slew of great deals at CVS! CVS is pretty straight forward with their coupon policy, it's basics and no frills or spills. They also have a rewards system similar to Walgreens' Register Rewards where they give you coupons at the end of your receipt which can be used like cash at their stores after you purchase specific products. At CVS it's called "Extra Care Bucks" and it is amazing. They don't have …

Well folks, we knew the time was near. The end of the Monopoly promotion at Pick 'n Save. So, what did you win? Anyone? Anyone? Bueller? Yup. That's what I thought. I wasn't a big winner either. Or a small winner. Or an anything winner. I did get a couple coupons out of it for a measly 25¢ off this and that. Whoooop whooooop. Now that we're back to normal I gotta say the deals this week are pretty spiffy. Fun holidays like Labor Day sure do help in that department. At Pick 'n Save you can save even more on Wednesdays with their Double Daze. This is where the coupon magic happens because your 'pons up to $1 will double. So if you have a $1 off coupon it will magically double to $2, saving your family even more when it comes to your bottom …

Happy Walgreens Wednesday! There's all sorts of freebie deals happening at Walgreens thing week including our hometown favorite, the Wisconsin born & breed Carmex! Walgreens makes saving money pretty easy with their Register Rewards program. Each week there are oodles of deals which produce Register Rewards, or RR for short. They will print with your receipt at the checkout and can be used on future purchases like cash. There are a couple caveats though. You can not use an RR to purchase an item from the same brand as what the RR originally developed from. When you use the RR just make sure you do not use it to buy other items from said company. Also, if you're using manufacturer 'pons make sure you do not have more items in your …

Pick 'n Save....ooooooh, Pick 'n Save. I haven't been inside your walls in weeks. Cutting your double daze down to only Wednesdays has really put a dent in our relationship. And I've been cheating on you with Dominos Pizza and every frozen meal in my freezer. This week it'll all change. We'll have one of those movie moments where we see each other across the way and slow mo into a dramatic embrace. Or not. I think I still have a couple flavors of 'za to try. Hey, Dominos is GOOD! And cheap. Emphasis on cheap. Anyhoo, at Pick 'n Save you can save even more on Wednesdays (and Wednesdays only) with their Double Daze. This is where the coupon magic happens because your 'pons up to $1 will double. So if you have a $1 off coupon it will …
