Train Crashes into SUV after Driver gets Stuck on the Tracks
No one was hurt, but the SUV was pushed 3/10ths of a mile North.
A train struck a car that was stuck on the tracks at 1:27 a.m. Sunday near Seven Mile and Michna road. According to a report by the Caledonia Police Department, police responded to the scene after an official from the Union Pacific Railroad reported crashing into a vehicle. When police got to the scene, they found an abandoned Ford Explorer. They tracked the owner, Sarah Malacara, down at her home in Franklin. Malacara told police was driving a Ford Explorer eastbound on Seven Mile Road when she crashed into a guardrail on Seven Mile Road.
