Convicted Felon Caught After Escaping From Halfway House
Caledonia Police want the community to be on the lookout for a man they consider as dangerous. Andrew Brian Garcia, 43, of Kenosha, was arrested in 2001 for almost choking a Caledonia woman to death.
UPDATE: Sgt. Brian Wall of the Caledonia Police Department said Garcia had been apprehended and was taken to the Racine County Jail on October 19. "I probably should have checked the jail logs, but I didn't and I probably should have. But the Chief told me to call you and I did." Details around Garcia's arrest are limited. However, we'll update the story when we find out more information. Just so you guys know, I've got some sorting out to do on this story. Yesterday I was told that CAPD and the U.S. Marshals Service was out looking for this guy, but I'm seeing that he's listed on the jail log as being in the Racine County Jail since Oct. 19.   more ›
