PROM 2012 CONTEST: Upload Your Prom Photo and Win a Grownup Date Night

Whether you went for the top hat and tails, the sequins, or the orange plaid cummerbund, the memories are worth sharing the photo with Patchland. Not to mention you could win a prize valued at more than $200.

Few mementos date us like the high school prom photo. Did you rock the baby-blue ruffled shirt? Dazzle in the 3-hoop pink dress? Was your hair visible from outer space? Today it might all seem a tad embarrassing, but your old prom photos are still good enough to win a modern Grownup Date Night worth more than $200, courtesy of Patch and its partners. Here’s how to participate: One winner will be selected at random to receive a prize package that includes: Join this virtual tour down memory lane by uploading your old prom photo. Belle of the Ball Plays Fairy Godmother for Prom

Prom is a big deal in the life of a high school student, and here in the Racine area, prom is a much bigger deal. But not all girls can afford the finery, so Belle of the Ball steps in to help create the perfect look for a dazzling night.

Girls go to great lengths to look their very best for prom, and here in the Racine area, students perhaps go even further given the deep tradition of the Post Prom event that adds sparkle to the evening. Unfortunately, though, not all students have the financial means to put together the look of their dreams. This is where Belle of the Ball steps in and serves as a fairy godmother of sorts. This year, girls can visit the Racine Room at St. Mary's Hospital, 3801 Spring Street, from 7 to 9 pm March 30 and from 8 am to 12 pm March 31. Reservations are a good idea, but walk-ins are welcome.
