Photo Gallery: Belle of the Ball Delivers the Fancy for Prom

With a large inventory of donated dresses, shoes, and dazzling jewelry, Belle of the Ball makes it easy for girls to find everything they need for a magical night.

There is still time to find what you need at Belle of the Ball! From 8 am until 12 pm Saturday in the Racine Room at St. Mary's Hospital, 3801 Spring Street, girls can "shop" for the perfect dress, shoes, and accessories to make a complete look for prom, one of the most important events in a high school student's life. All the finery has been donated from every corner of the community, including the time and talents of the seamstresses who are there to make any necessary alterations. There is an hour - 11 am to 12 pm - for walk-ins, but reservations are required. Girls can still reserve a slot by sending an email to racineprom@hotmail.com.

This year, girls can visit the Racine Room at St. Mary's Hospital, 3801 Spring Street, from 7 to 9 pm March 30 and from 8 am to 12 pm March 31. Reservations are a good idea, but walk-ins are welcome. Students can email racineprom@hotmail.com to reserve a time. Dresses, shoes, and assessories have been collected from throughout the community to provide a…
