Alex Richter, 28, of Racine, is accused of making sex tapes of children that he was supposed to be babysitting. He made an appearance in Racine County court today.
A 28-year-old Racine man accused of multiple child sex crimes pleaded not guilty to 49 felony counts this morning in a Racine County courtroom. Alex Richter wore a bulletproof apron from his shoulders to his ankles when he waived his preliminary hearing and pleaded not guilty to both cases against him. Between the two cases, a total of 49 felony counts of child sex assault, child pornography and exploitation of children/filming have been levied against Richter. So far, six children have been named victims in the cases. A mother of one of the victims was in court and was visibly shaking as she exited the courtroom after Richter entered his plea. She was seen talking to members of the victim-witness team following the court proceedings. …

Alexander Richter faces 23 additional felony counts of sexual assault of a child, child exploitation and child pornography which could lead to another 625 years in prison on top of the 560 he faces for the 26 original charges.
After Alexander Richter, 28, of Racine, was charged with 26 felony counts of sexual assault of a child, exploitation of a child/filming and child pornography, additional victims have been identified. Richter was charged Thursday in Racine County Circuit Court with 23 new felony counts including seven counts of first degree sexual assault of a child under the age of 12; eight counts of sexual exploitation of a child/filming, and eight counts of child pornography. If convicted of these new charges, he faces 625 years in prison on top of the 560 years he faces from the 26 original charges. The combined total possible prison time from the two cases is 1,185. A 28-year-old Racine man is accused of creating numerous child pornography videos and images with two young children while babysitting them during the past year. Alexander R. Richter was charged in Racine County Circuit Court Monday with two counts of repeated sexual assault of a child, 12 counts of sexual exploitation of a child and 12 counts of possession of child pornography. If convicted, he faces up to 560 years in prison and $2.4 million in fines. A computer brought into DK Systems had 25 gigabytes worth of child pornography on it, according to a criminal complaint. The computer's owner, a 61-year-old man, now faces 20 felony charges.

A 61-year-old Town of Norway man who brought his computer into an Oak Creek company for repairs is now facing 20 felony charges after the company discovered numerous images of child pornography. Marcel R. Troutwein was charged in Racine County Circuit Court Wednesday with 20 counts of possession of child pornography. The charges carry a combined maximum sentence of 500 years in prison and $2 million in fines. According to the criminal complaint: Troutwein took his computer to DK Systems, 9555 S. Howell Ave., on July 5 to have work done on it and transfer files to a new computer. Employees called the Oak Creek Police Department after finding child pornography images on the computer.
