Get Your Green On At The Downtown Racine St. Patrick's Day Parade

Applications are now being taken for the parade, which will be held on March 16.

Downtown Racine's 7th Annual St. Patrick's Day Parade will be held at noon on March 16, and will start by stepping off from the corner of Main and State Streets.  The Downtown Racine Corporation is now accepting applications for the parade. For the past six years, Downtown has been filled with merriment as the St. Patrick's Day parade winds its way along Main and 6th Streets.   Each year, the parade draws thousands of people of all ages to downtown Racine to enjoy the festivities and this year's parade will be even bigger and better than ever!  There is no cost to be in the parade.  Simply complete the 2013 parade application form, sign it and return it to the Downtown Racine Corporation by Thursday, February 28.  An application form can …

Downtown Racine Gallery Night Features Live Mannequins

If you headed to downtown Racine Saturday night, you may have noticed the live mannequins in the windows. Students from Park, Lutheran, Horlick and Case high schools dressed in renaissance-era costumes and gave their best still profile. Here are some of the photos we snapped.
