Sara Conrad from SarandipitySaves.com shows you that being cheap can be oh-so chic with daily fortuitous frugal discoveries.
I finally succumbed to the flu bug that's bit my whole family. I knew this day was coming, but stayed in a vitamin C overdose haze of denial. Until now. Although flu bug bites are kind of the right of passage into the Autumnal season. So I'll take it in stride and ride out the sick storm. Helping me take my mind off of this flu bug is a slew of great deals at CVS! CVS is pretty straight forward with their coupon policy, it's basics and no frills or spills. They also have a rewards system similar to Walgreens' Register Rewards where they give you coupons at the end of your receipt which can be used like cash at their stores after you purchase specific products. At CVS it's called "Extra Care Bucks" and it is amazing. They don't have …

It's Windsday...and also Wednesday....and also Walgreen Deals Day! Walgreens makes saving money pretty easy with their Register Rewards program. Each week there are oodles of deals which produce Register Rewards, or RR for short. They will print with your receipt at the checkout and can be used on future purchases like cash. There are a couple caveats though. You can not use a RR to purchase an item from the same brand as what the RR originally developed from. When you use the RR just make sure you do not use it to buy other items from said company. The RR will usually say "Compliments of [Enter Brand Name Here]" so it's pretty easy to avoid double dippin'. Also, if you're using manufacturer couponpons make sure you do not have more items…

It's that time again! Time to scope out some CVS deal action! They don't have restrictions on their ECB's so you can use them on any product, including those which initially produced the ECB's. It's a fave in the ol' saving arsenal. Heads up, you do need an Extra Care card to snag all their sale prices and Extra Care Bucks but it's free, quick and painless to sign up. Without further ado…

It's......not Friday. In fact, it's the opposite of Friday. Dreaded Monday. Oof. So what's with telling us the CVS deals on Monday? Well, things are a'changing around here. From now on Patch Saves is only going to be run on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Because of this we had to mix it up and make some cuts. From here on out our new saving schedule looks like this: Monday = CVS deals, Wednesday = Walgreens deals, and Friday = Target deals. The daily deal, coupon code and printable coupon will all stay the same. If you need a couponing fix on the days Patch Saves will be dark, head on over to Sarandipity Saves. That's where I post all sorts of deals, craft projects, recipes and couponing tips daily and I'll be posting a full listing…

Pick 'n Save is giving us a little gift this week...a bonus double coupon day! From what I've heard every store is participating in Double Daze this Saturday, October 1st. I don't know if this is to capitalize on the season premiere of TLC's Extreme Couponing or if they just lost their marbles. Either way, I'm a happy gal. So let's talk about this Double Daze. It's on Wednesdays only usually and this is where the coupon magic happens because your 'pons up to $1 will double. So if you have a $1 off coupon it will magically double to $2, saving your family even more. Of course there's the ever-present caveats. In order to snag your double coupons, your order must be at least $25 pre-coupons but post your store card discount being deducted. …
