Weather Expected to Get Nasty This Weekend
National Weather Service is calling for severe thunderstorms — and possibly hail and tornadoes — throughout southeastern Wisconsin, including Caledonia.
A double whammy of severe weather is expected to hit southeastern Wisconsin this weekend as the National Weather Service is calling for two separate storms to hit the region on Saturday and Sunday The service is predicting severe thunderstorm both days, and says there is a possibility for hail or even tornadoes. Some thunderstorms are expected Friday night as warm and humid air moves into the region, but those storms won't be severe, the service says. However, another strong push of warm and humid air will return to southern Wisconsin on Saturday afternoon and night. That storm could bring hail and damaging wind gusts, the service says.
