Five Mile Road was shut down in both directions for about two hours.

Caledonia PD continues to investigate what caused the accident but do not believe alcohol was a factor.

Editor's Note: In an earlier version of this story, we stated that police were investigating if alcohol or inattentive driving were a factor in the accident. When we updated the story with information from the release from Caledonia PD, we neglected to clarify that alcohol was probably not a cause. We have since corrected the information and regret the error.
