Enter the "Love Makes the World Go Round" Contest

Valentine's Day will be here soon and Cupid will be shooting his arrows, but we want to know more about the love in your life.

In a 100 words or less, we want to know who your object of affection is, how you met and a photo of the two of you. And, if you happen to not have a significant other, you can always tell us about your first love in a 100 words or less as well. Make sure to put Valentine Contest in the subject line. Deadline is Feb. 12. Submissions exceeding 100 words will not be read.

The person with the best story in the two categories will each be granted a $50 Visa gift card.

And if you have a Valentine that lives outside the area, check patch.com to see if we have a website there. If we do, send your Valentine a message in 100 words or less with a photo to denise.lockwood@patch.com and we'll make sure it gets sent to the Patch there. Please indicate the name of the patch city in the body of the email and the words "Patch Valentine" in the subject line. Deadline is Feb. 12.
