Woman loses control of vehicle because of an unknown medical emergency.

A woman driving a Honda Pilot SUV crashed into a gas pump at the Mobil station on Three Mile Road and North Main Street in Caledonia at about 7:30 pm Tuesday.

Authorities say the woman, who was driving north on Main Street, had an unknown medical emergency, became dizzy and lost control of the car.  The accident started a small fire, which was quickly extinguished. She was taken to Wheaton Franciscan Hospital in Racine.

As of 8:20 p.m., Racine and Caledonia police still had the roads blocked off in the area.
